Everything You Need To Know About Diarrhea

How I Learned How To Overcome Constipation

Quick Tips On How To Overcome Constipation

This might be a little bit of a gloating but I would still like to share my tips on how to overcome constipation. Mostly because I know how it feels to have to deal with chronic constipation and I had it for nearly 10 years. It seriously took me way too long and I was way too lazy to find an answer. Before I start I would really like to mention that just because this worked great for me does not mean that it is going to work for you. I would highly suggest contacting your primary care physician and going over certain treatment methods before trying this out. With that being said here are some easy constipation tips that you can use.

Meditation To Lower Stress

This may seem silly but I have found that when I am severely stressed out is when my constipation is the absolute worst. So in learning how to reduce stress, you will also learn how to overcome constipation. In order to reduce your stress, I would highly suggest that you learn some meditation techniques at some point. If you do not know how to meditate then I would consider learning how by either finding a teacher or maybe finding some easy tips online. Meditation is kind of hard to learn but once you get it down it is an absolute godsend. It will reduce your stress and it will help you become less constipated in the process.

Detoxing Your Body

This is more of a precautionary step that I take before I start any type of diet. Before you can learn how to overcome constipation you must first detox your body of all of its toxins. When you are constipated your stool actually releases its toxins into your intestines and abdomen. So when you detox it should help get rid of all of this. Now that you know this you must now choose a detox solution. I would recommend going with an all natural detox kit. You can find these online or even at your local health store. Please use precaution when using detox kits as if you do not use them correctly they can cause some pretty serious side effects.

Changing The Diet
This one was pretty obvious and I decided to save the best for last. Although you may know already that your diet is probably the most important part about all of this some people do not quite understand. Now that you have detoxed your body you are ready for what I call the constipation diet. I wish that I would have known about this diet when I first started learning how to overcome constipation but I didn't

Here are the foods you should eat when learning how to overcome constipation

1.Prunes
2.Apricots
3.Oatmeal
4.Rye Bread
5.Whole Wheat Bread.
6.Brown Rice
7.Leafy Greens
8.Pears
9.Walnuts
10.Almonds

Water intake is another massive one. If you are drinking a decent amount of water daily you will notice a pretty massive increase in constipation relief. I would suggest getting yourself the best whole house water filter possible. You will thank me later when you have the cleanest drinking water and you start to feel much better.

This is just a short list of the foods that I would recommend eating but there are so many others. These ten foods are literally the only 10 things that I ate for 6 months. After 6 months of following all of these steps, I finally accomplished my goal and learned how to overcome constipation. Although it wasn't easy it was a great feeling to accomplish this monster.

Common Causes Of Diarrhea

I would check this out because if you are dealing with chronic diarrhea you might be able to find out exactly what it is that is causing it. It took me a very long time before I found out the I had Malabsorption factors and that is what was causing it. So check this out and if it helps thank me later! :)

Symptoms Of Constipation

Sometimes its very easy to tell if you are constipated because you will have a very difficult time trying to release your bowels. Sometimes it can be a bit different and be kind of hard to tell, there are a couple of symptoms of chronic constipation that you can go by to tell if this is what you are actually dealing with. I know that it sounds like a silly thing to write about but I really do hope that this is helpful to somebody out there who does not know much about constipation. If this helps just one person then I will have done my job with this! Anyway here are some symptoms that you can check to tell.

Trouble Releasing Bowels
This is fairly easy but I want to make a quick paragraph about it because its important. If you are sitting on the toilet for over an hour you might be constipated. No you are constipated so make sure if you are having this then you know what to do next to make it easier.

Hard Or Small Stools
If you are actually getting some stools to release but they are very small and hard pellets then you might be constipated as well. This is something to look for as people will just think that its normal at first. This is a pretty good time to make the assumption that you are constipated.

Swollen Abdomen
If your stomach feels bloated or swollen you should get yourself checked out to see if you are dealing with chronic constipation. I have this problem almost once a month but have found some good methods to get rid of this. I would recommend that you see a doctor because they can help you out.

Vomiting
If you are vomiting long with a swollen abdomen and trouble releasing your bowels you can pretty much be sure that constipation is the culprit. Although it is very uncommon to have vomiting when you are constipated. It is possible and usually only occurs when you are dealing with a severe case. So If you have all of these symptoms and this one kicks in that is the most important time to get to a doctor as soon as possible.

Now that you know all of the symptoms of constipation you can finally know for sure that you are actually dealing with this problem. Make sure that you always visit your primary care physician for more questions or concerns about this problem. Constipation can be a very serious matter and if you leave it alone for too long can lead to some bad complications. In a case of an emergency please dial 911 if you ever have one.
